character By hi funghi

In 2016 I started creating characters as a personal project. These are the first 12 in this series. My intention is to show memories of my childhood, express emotions of loneliness and joy and present to you my real and imaginary friends. The project continues on my Instagram.

This is a book project from the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna. It’s a psychological novel written by Simenon, the Belgian master of thrillers. Its first edition was in 1945 and the story takes place in Paris. The story is about a woman who’s 40 already and she has never been loved or touched. Dominique lives an insipid and confined life in her small apartment that she rents to a young couple.
